Day Of Flay

Our Bristol sausage dog enthusiast (and loop-pedal-stomping synth-and-uke player) Spencer Flay finally gives us a first taste of his coming LP. Critical is on the tropical side, driven by a compelling vocal line tinged with Spencurian charm. It drops on the 3rd this month - if you’re here early, sneak a peek on the podcast. Billionaire and the full work, Sound Waves, coming in November.
Podcast: Critical Moment

The LP is finally happening! Well, the lead single is. Flanking Spencer Flay’s unslowable Critical is Rosellas from Manchester, with their euphoric Brit-rock Before The Storm and Norwegian singer-songwriter Vilnes with A Million Smiles. With all this comes news of our artists’ rebirth into the live scene.
Rosellas

That late-90s euphoric Brit-rock sound, you know the one. Concentrate it, put it in a bottle, and that’s what Rosellas have given us in these five minutes of distorted velvet. They’re in London this month and hopping through Leeds, Preston and Barrow in the next, although they’re hometown is Manchester. Perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of their next works.
Vilnes

Singer-songwriter Vilnes leads with his lyrics, picked out by careful drums and pianos. Hailing from Norway, he recorded his recent EP Back To The Start up in Bergen, from which we took A Million Smiles. With a Take-That-ish sound, he’s grown a following in Germany and recently over here in the UK. Makes sense to us.
