The Assist

The Assist’s debut album is nigh! Council Pop comes to us on 8th April. Ahead of the party, we play the album’s second single, Television Kid. Capturing their usual panache with well-balanced distortion garnish, it has an easy-going, unrestricted vibe but don’t let that distract you from the thought out lyrics.
Podcast: Rock 'n' Danny

We welcome Danny from Cut Throat Francis on board to co-host the podcast, taking in much elegant rock with The Assist’s Television Kid, Ocean Flaws with Karmageddon and wrapping up with This Won’t Hurt by SINGBABYSING, and all of it sandwiched out with news and chat from your two venerable hosts.
Ocean Flaws

Holding up the pedigree of British rock, Karmageddon pairs the rough with the smooth. It’s catchy, it’s luxurious and it was recorded at Liverpool’s Sugar House Studios. Keep an eye, especially for details on their upcoming BBC Introducing’s Tour of Essex headline slot as well as any juicy announcements.
SINGBABYSING

If you like floating about in purple silk curtains like a chocolate Ripple advert, you’ll enjoy This Won’t Hurt by SINGBABYSING. You’ll also like it if you enjoy smooth vocals, female harms and sailing rhythms. A DIY project from south London, his debut EP Spring Brings The Blues came late last December.
