Our penultimate new music parade shifts from Fidan’s pop to Aleksei’s piano-based rock through to Hannah’s intimate singer-songwriter style, all bound together with the background and info you’ve come to expect. Our ultimate parade, beginning on the 14th, takes us all around the UK in twelve glorious leaps - stay tuned.
Fidan Aliva

Azerbaijani born, London dwelling, Shebab Sound founding creative powerhouse Fidan Aliva returns with her new single No-one Seeing. Rich and velvety, Fidan has captured the daunting space of the cathedral where it was first composed. Having lived and performed in her home country, in the UK, Italy and Austria, 2021 is set to be even more international.
Aleksei

Aleksei is a Russian born musician, fresh out of London’s Royal College of Music. His piano prowess shines bright, threading a modern-classical thread through a pop-rock needle. This month we’re showcasing his single You Won’t Be The Same - if you like it, his even newer single One In A Billion is releasing on the 12th.
Hannah Phaisey

Hannah, or to use her nascent stage name Martina, is a veteran songwriter, having contributed to the chart-topping EP Electric Shock from Korean pop band f(x). She is now striking out as an independent artist with her first salvo of songs - among them, Walls on this month’s show. At once intimate and spacious, it is a first step on what we hope is a very long road.
