As well as being layered with shiny synth textures, I Won't Surrender comes out as a reassuringly cathartic track. The Baku native has a long history of music and collaborations but made her independent debut with Molecule90 at the end of August. She has her eye on moving to the UK and has a series of international events lined up for next year.

The London based group are purveyors of the finest dark, folky theatre. Their compilation album Thieves, Lovers, And Liars came earlier this year and we scooped Bedlam Hallelujah for this month's show. They're looking to take it into heavier territory for their next project - keep an eye.
Stevie Rock

Old school rap makes a comeback this month with Stevie Rock's One More Round. With a relentless rhythm, splash snares and a good dollop of fun, it's easy to see how Martin Rogan wanted it for his heavyweight boxing title fight entry song. With a long list of celebrity support slots, expect his name to come up elsewhere.
