Gordon James And The Power

February’s Video Of The Month peaked curiosity with a lot of you, so here’s the band behind the treat. Gordon James And The Power are from Scotland’s whisky capitol Speyside, which explains why their music tastes so good. This month enjoy Pick Yourself Up, the absurdly uplifting and passionate track from the self-titled EP, and look out for them live.

Another gloriously eclectic selection, spanning urban pop, rock and driving acoustic with Carry Lyanne, WeatheredMan and Gordon James And The Power. The trans-national meal of music will surely satisfy, but you can wash it down with a trans-national smoothie of news from our artists who will be bringing new releases and UK tours.
Carry Lyanne

Carry Lyanne’s powerfully reverberating EP Life has our imagination humming through London’s streets, washed in sodium and neon lights. Lead single Nothing is the moodier of the tracks, with its heavy passion and echoes of Lana Del Rey. The EP will be released soon, but you can glimpse a preview on her Spotify.
Invasion Of The Swedes!

Nascent signing Valle Hope will be flying to London imminently to record his debut EP, be on the lookout! It seems the visit will be but a prelude however, because both Valle Hope and Pwned By Gravity will be back in the UK for a full-blown British tour. Not to mention home-grown trio The High Points, who’ll be funking their way up and down the country to carve a path of their own. But all that will be in summer, because now it's cold.
WeatheredMan

WeatheredMan is a duets project that sees Roja member Simon team up with a different artist each time to fuse styles and experiences. Paired this time with Aaron Paul, Your Hand In My Pocket generates a classic rock vibe that screams with attitude. Mariachi band Roja are themselves great fun, and the duets project is inspired. Check the music videos for extra credits.
