Welcome Valle Hope

Stockholm-based prodigy Valle Hope has joined the ADSRecords rostra! Having been inspired by his adaptability and commitment to his craft, we’re very much looking forward to supporting his growth - and being a spectator to it - and before long, many of you will too. Given his abilities at only 16, there’ll be plenty to see in the years ahead.

Mellow as a February mist, this month’s show. Lining up multitalented RnB newcomer Surya, Danish storyteller Jacob Speake and soulful singer-songwriter Cha:dy forms a reassuringly laid back landscape. Take the moment to breathe and reconnect with the music you won’t hear in the charts.
Cha:dy

Cha:dy’s silky voice entices you into that proverbial smoke-filled bar, where the drums are mellow and the drinks run easy. She then shares the passion through Blue Bedroom's soulful chorus, coming smooth and unforced. Having released her debut EP My Feet Firmly On The Ground in late November, the French singer/songwriter is rustling up the London live scene.

Surya

Surya’s music is at once breathless and controlled, both frenetic and mellow. From his wonderfully cohesive debut album Adolessence, we’ve selected fifth track The Ride to show you what we mean. Blended perfectly with the backing, the lyrics hide a layer of depth behind a sheen of boy-girl shenanigans. Backed by collective Iris Iver, we’re not the only ones noticing the multi-talented newcomer.
Jacob Speake

There’s something very tangible about Jacob Speake’s Dreaming Of The Past. And that’s what we all need from time to time - something honest and unplugged. Taken from his upcoming LP of the same name, due on 23rd this month. If you happen to be in Copenhagen, you can catch his release party on the 22nd Kulturhuset Islands Brygge.
Gigs Abound

You can be sure of a good show this spring no matter which side of the Baltic you’re following us from - Pwned By Gravity’s Koordinaten gig in Oxelösund on the 8th of Feb will be followed by The High Points’ big event on the 17th at Open Music Live, Norwich, and another chance to see PBG on the 21st March at Kalmar Nation. When’s the last time you saw a local gig? You know what to do...
